NASA Exploring Space Challenges

Welcome to NASA Exploring Space Challenges!

NASA ESC is a national program providing a compilation of investigations and design challenges for all grade levels in the primary and secondary schools. NASA ESC supports many of the national education standards for science, mathematics, technology and the arts.

The Exploring Space Challenges’ mission is for all students to:

  • Develop "science as inquiry" skills
  • Work collaboratively as team members
  • Apply computer and Internet skills
  • Integrate science, mathematics and technology concepts
  • Learn to communicate more clearly and effectively

You have several missions to choose from, each of which challenges you to embrace imagination and knowledge. Through technology, research and design we hope that these missions inspire your future. So join NASA’s Vision for Space Exploration and choose your mission!
